Experience Chiang Rai with the Locals

From a pioneering bilingual community web portal in 2003 to an internationally recognized, licensed tour operator. Preserving Northern Thailand's living culture, mountain landscapes, and cross-border Mekong journeys for over two decades.

Our Heritage • Our Story

Rooted in Chiang Rai Since 2003

Established on 24 July 2003, iChiangrai Co., Ltd. (บริษัท ไอเชียงราย จำกัด) originated from a genuine love for our home province. Under our first slogan “Welcome to Chiangrai My Home”, we built one of Upper Northern Thailand's earliest bilingual online platforms to share local stories, cultural traditions, road maps, and scenic photography.

As global travelers sought our advice on navigating steep mountain passes and border crossings, our community evolved naturally into a full-service travel enterprise. We pioneered bespoke outbound itineraries across the Greater Mekong Subregion—spanning slow-boat and bullet train journeys through Laos, China's high-speed rail network across Yunnan, and highland ethnic treks into Myanmar's Shan State.

Today, operating under TAT License No. 21/00869 with our own commercial VIP vehicle fleet, we remain steadfast in our founding ethos: “Experience Chiang Rai with the Locals”—welcoming every traveler like family.
